Good morning readers,

Today’s breakout alert is NASDAQ:HCTI. 

Healthcare Triangle, Inc. (Nasdaq: HCTI) builds AI and cloud technology for hospitals, health systems and pharmaceutical companies. Its platforms handle everything from data analytics to patient engagement, and the company has been pushing hard into artificial intelligence across the board.

Healthcare is one of the largest and slowest-moving industries in the world, and it’s sitting right in the path of the AI buildout. Hospitals and health systems are under real pressure to modernize, and the companies supplying that technology stand to benefit. HCTI has been positioning itself for exactly that.

The company has been expanding aggressively, launching new AI products and building out operations internationally through its QuantumNexis subsidiary, including moves into the Middle East. For a company this size, that’s a lot of ground covered in a short window.

This is a small cap company in a huge industry. And it’s a company moving fast in a space the market cares about. Keep a close eye on this one today.

Today’s list produced early moves across the board but nothing followed in the afternoon. VIVK climbed 9.6% in the first hour, ALGS ran 8% around 10 a.m. and JLHL ticked up 7.2%. All three settled in for the rest of the session from there.

All three of the stocks from this morning’s watchlist put up modest moves out of the gate.

VIVK climbed from $1.04 to $1.14 in the first hour, good for 9.6%. ALGS ran from $6.15 to $6.64 around 10 a.m., an 8% move. And JLHL went from $7.12 to $7.63 for 7.2%.

None of them broke out in a big way, but all three are still worth having on your screen this afternoon. The bigger move doesn’t always come before lunch.

Today’s watchlist went three for three, and one of them saved its best for last.

All three names moved in the first hour. SSM climbed from $3.77 to $4.40, BIAF ran from $7.73 to $8.60, and LIDR ticked up from $1.57 to $1.64.

Then SSM came back for more. The stock rallied again just before the close, reaching a high of $4.99 and finishing the day at $4.75. That’s a 32.4% move from the open at the peak and a 26% close for anyone who held through the full session.

Two separate windows on the same name in one day. That’s why it pays to stay on these through the closing bell.

* bioAffinity Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIAF) – trading higher in early action, up 35.8%  

* Sono Group N.V. (Nasdaq: SSM) – showing early strength, up 36.6%

* AEye, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIDR) – one of the more active names pre-market, up 54.8%.

All three names from this morning’s watchlist moved in the first hour.

SSM had the strongest run, climbing from $3.77 to $4.40 for a 16.7% move. BIAF went from $7.73 to $8.60, good for 11.3%. And LIDR ticked up from $1.57 to $1.64.
