    Today’s breakout alert is NASDAQ:ONCY. 

    Oncolytics Biotech Inc. (Nasdaq: ONCY) is a clinical-stage immunotherapy company developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered RNA-based therapy designed to activate the immune system against cancer.

    ONCY is focused on gastrointestinal cancers including colorectal, anal and pancreatic cancer, targeting indications where current treatment options are severely limited.

    On Monday the company received FDA Fast Track designation for pelareorep in second-line anal cancer, a patient population with no FDA-approved therapies currently available after first-line progression.

    In fact, this is the third Fast Track designation the FDA has granted to pelareorep across different cancer types, as it also received similar designations in colorectal cancer earlier this year and pancreatic cancer in 2022. The company is targeting a market estimated at nearly $1 billion annually.

    ONCY has FDA Fast Track designations across three cancer types, fresh regulatory momentum and a stock trading at a low price point. That’s a setup worth watching closely today.
