Dear Reader,

Friday morning’s scan is done and three names made the cut.

Out of everything moving in pre-market, these are the three worth your screen space:

* American Outdoor Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: AOUT) – already up 24.9% in pre-market trading…

* OFA Group (Nasdaq: OFAL) – which has soared 35.5% this morning…

* Bit Origin Limited (Nasdaq: SGRX) – has shot up a remarkable 52.9% before the market open.

Pre-market tells you where the interest is before the crowd shows up. It doesn’t tell you how the day ends, but it tells you where to look. These three are where I’m looking today.

Here’s an important update on this morning’s Breakout Alert: HCTI.

Earlier this morning HCTI announced it has signed a separation agreement with its subsidiary Teyame AI Holdings, setting the stage for a planned direct listing of Teyame AI on Nasdaq. Teyame AI holds the AI-powered customer experience businesses HCTI acquired back in January.

Now here’s the part of this news that is important for HCTI shareholders:

HCTI’s board has approved a stock dividend that would distribute 10% of Teyame AI Holdings’ outstanding shares to HCTI shareholders of record.

In other words, pending review and approval, existing HCTI shareholders would end up with shares in both companies.

A spinoff with a shareholder dividend attached is a real development for a company this size. Keep a close eye on HCTI today.

Today’s breakout alert is NASDAQ:HCTI. 

Healthcare Triangle, Inc. (Nasdaq: HCTI) builds AI and cloud technology for hospitals, health systems and pharmaceutical companies. Its platforms handle everything from data analytics to patient engagement, and the company has been pushing hard into artificial intelligence across the board.

Healthcare is one of the largest and slowest-moving industries in the world, and it’s sitting right in the path of the AI buildout. Hospitals and health systems are under real pressure to modernize, and the companies supplying that technology stand to benefit. HCTI has been positioning itself for exactly that.

The company has been expanding aggressively, launching new AI products and building out operations internationally through its QuantumNexis subsidiary, including moves into the Middle East. For a company this size, that’s a lot of ground covered in a short window.

Today’s list produced early moves across the board but nothing followed in the afternoon. VIVK climbed 9.6% in the first hour, ALGS ran 8% around 10 a.m. and JLHL ticked up 7.2%. All three settled in for the rest of the session from there.

All three of the stocks from this morning’s watchlist put up modest moves out of the gate.

VIVK climbed from $1.04 to $1.14 in the first hour, good for 9.6%. ALGS ran from $6.15 to $6.64 around 10 a.m., an 8% move. And JLHL went from $7.12 to $7.63 for 7.2%.

None of them broke out in a big way, but all three are still worth having on your screen this afternoon. The bigger move doesn’t always come before lunch.
